How do penis traction devices work?

By semenax

Penis traction devices are coming into popularity as of late, and with all the ‘new’ attention, some people wonder if this idea is brand new and untested.

In fact the technique of using traction first took root in ancient tribal customs, and the spiritual and cultural practices of indigenous peoples. Now even our modern medical community is using this method for rebuilding tissue in surgical patients. The idea is centuries-old. What is new is the development and creation of safe, effective, medically approved devices that can be used at home. These are now well-tested and well-documented, and have a history of producing results.

Most of us are familiar with the more extreme examples of what traction can do, like the practice of using neck rings (native Thai peoples), and the ear and lip disks worn by various tribes in South America. These native peoples have been known to use these principles (stretching the human body) to enlarge various body parts to unbelievable sizes.

You may actually have seen this type of thing on National Geographic Explorer, or the Discovery Channel; native cultures like the Sadhus of India, the Peruvian Cholomecs, or the Papua Indians of New Guinea all are said to have used penis stretching to achieve lengths of over a foot and a half! There are many examples of indigenous peoples having used these techniques to achieve penis elongation.

Today, traction used to help heal the human body after surgery, injury, trauma or burns. “Traction” is the medical term used to describe carefully calibrated and continuous pressure applied to the body. Put another way, stressing tissues by stretching them leads to the body place additional tissue in that area.

Examples include women who have undergone a mastectomy (breast removal due to cancer). In this case tissue expansion is used to grow more skin and muscle on the chest in conjunction with reconstructive surgery. Men who have had penis enlargement surgery are also instructed to use traction during healing, to help strengthen and straighten the penis. Burn patients can now have skin grafts by means of traction which “stretches” or enlarges an area of skin next to the scar, making it possible to cover over the scar and reduce the appearance of discoloured tissue.

What actually happens with stretching is that the stretch opens up spaces between the cells, triggering growth and healing where the nearby tissue creates new cells to fill in the spaces. As the body adds missions of new cells over time, the tissue in that area expands and becomes larger.

This is how penis enlargement devices work. The ProExtender, a device developed and tested by a urologist in Denmark, uses a system of ‘tension bars’ to pull the penis into a longer position to begin exactly the process described above. With the lengthening of the penis, the device is adjusted to increase the pressure for continued growth. Sold under the name ProExtender, this device is easily purchased online or through your medical practitioner. Research it further online at www.proextender.com
